Renovations Done Through the Walls, Ceilings and Paint
A lot of renovating is really wall and ceiling work. Our crew frames it, plasters it and paints it, so the room comes together with one team on site.
No juggling three trades and three quotes. You get one price for the framing, the plaster and the paint, and one clean-up at the end.
Renovation Work for Central Coast Homes
Turning one big room into two, adding a home office or fixing up a beach cottage. We take care of the walls, ceilings and paint.
New Walls & Layout Changes
Stud walls framed in timber or steel to divide a room, add a study or close in a space.
New Ceilings for Old Rooms
Tired, cracked or sagging ceilings pulled down and replaced with new plasterboard, set and ready for paint.
Door Openings & Closing Walls Over
New doorways framed in, and unused openings filled and plastered flush with the wall.
Bulkheads & Ceiling Features
Bulkheads built around ducting, pipes and downlights, then lined and painted.
Beach Cottages & Fibro Homes
Older Central Coast homes re-lined and patched where the walls have had a hard life.
Painting to Finish the Renovation
The crew that builds and plasters the walls paints them too.
Renovations for Central Coast Homes and Businesses
Building and plastering throw up dust, so we cover floors and furniture first and leave the rooms clean.
ResidentialHome Renovations
Lounges, bedrooms, home offices and rumpus rooms changed with new walls, new ceilings and fresh paint.
CommercialCommercial Renovations
Shops and offices refitted with new partitions, ceilings and paint, finished ready to open.
The mess stays in the rooms we are working on, and we leave them clean.
Plaster Finish Levels in a Renovation
New plasterboard next to old walls shows every flaw if the finish is wrong. AS/NZS 2589 sets the finish levels, and we pick one for each room based on the light and the paint sheen.

Level 3: Basic plasterboard finish
Joints and screws set. Good enough for garages, storage and sheds.
Level 4: Standard plasterboard finish
What most renovated rooms get. Goes well with flat or low-sheen paint.
Most roomsLevel 5: Smoothest plasterboard finish
The whole surface skimmed. For gloss paint, or walls with sun coming across them.

25+ Years of Plastering, Painting and Renovating
Over 25 years in the trade. Frames are checked before the sheets go up, and the plaster is finished to suit the paint going on.

Renovation FAQs for the Central Coast
Common questions about our renovation work.
What renovation work do you do on the Central Coast?
Renovations centred on walls and ceilings: new stud walls and partitions, doorways, bulkheads, new ceilings, plastering, and painting to finish.
Can one crew handle the framing, plaster and paint?
Yes. Our carpenters, plasterers and painters work together, so a new wall goes from frame to finished paint without waiting on another trade.
Is your renovation crew licensed in NSW?
Yes. Plastering Central works under All Paintworx Pty Ltd, NSW Licence No. 393197C (ABN 52 644 571 291), with MGH Contracting Pty Ltd (ABN 80 113 876 458).
Will you clean up after the renovation?
Yes. Floors and furniture are covered while we work, and the dust and offcuts are cleaned up when we finish.
Can you replace a sagging ceiling as part of a renovation?
Yes. The old ceiling comes down, battens are fixed or replaced where needed, and new plasterboard goes up, set and painted. If framing is structural, we will tell you if an engineer or council approval is needed.
Which Central Coast suburbs do you renovate in?
The whole Central Coast, from Gosford, Erina, Terrigal, Woy Woy and Umina Beach in the south to Tuggerah, Wyong, The Entrance and Toukley in the north.
Is a renovation quote free?
Yes. Call 0459 664 951 or send your details and photos of the rooms, and we will send you a free quote.
